Member of the Ukrainian Parliament Oleksandr Vasiuk<\/strong> attended the event “Bold Agenda for the NATO Summit in Washington in 2024”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Together with my good friend and true friend of Ukraine, John Herbst, I attended the event “Bold Agenda for the NATO Summit in Washington in 2024″ in Kyiv, which was dedicated to Ukraine’s future in the Alliance. John Herbst, together with Alexander Vershbow and Douglas Lute, presented the Atlantic Council’s appeal to President of the United States Joe Biden on Ukraine’s accession to NATO,”<\/em>said Oleksandr Vasiuk<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

It was signed by more than 40 participants, including diplomats, academics and national security leaders. <\/span><\/p>\n

John Herbst<\/strong> – Director of the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, US Ambassador to Ukraine in 2003-2006.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alexander Vershbow<\/strong> – Deputy Secretary General of NATO in 2012-2016, US Ambassador to NATO in 1998-2001.<\/span><\/p>\n

Douglas Lute<\/strong> – General, U.S. Ambassador to NATO in 2013-2017.<\/span><\/p>\n
