We also discussed European integration, support and strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium, humanitarian issues and assistance to internally displaced persons,<\/em>&#8221; said <strong>Oleksandr Vasiuk.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Belgium has joined the <strong>F-16 coalition<\/strong>, participates in the training of Ukrainian pilots and personnel for the maintenance of fighter jets, and plans to transfer F-16s to Ukraine this year. Belgium has allocated <strong>200 million euros<\/strong> to participate in the <strong>Czech initiative to purchase shells for Ukraine.<\/strong> In addition, Belgium will allocate <strong>200 million euros<\/strong> to participate in a German initiative to <strong>supply air defence systems<\/strong> to Ukraine and will transfer air defence missiles from its own stockpile to Ukraine. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cBelgium currently holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union. It is important for us that assistance to Ukraine and the EU accession process are among the key areas. I am grateful to the Kingdom of Belgium for its strong support of Ukraine!
