Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Vasiuk met with the Ambassador of Finland to Ukraine Jaakko Lehtovirta.
“I told him about the progress of judicial reform in Ukraine, the implementation of the European Commission’s recommendations for the start of negotiations on accession to the EU and the restoration of electronic declaration. We discussed the increase in bilateral relations between Ukraine and Finland, the exchange of experience in carrying out reforms between our parliaments. I thank Ambassador of Finland Jaakko Lehtovirta for an interesting and useful meeting. I am grateful for the support of Ukraine on its way to victory!” said Oleksandr Vasiuk.
Finland has been supporting Ukraine in security, humanitarian and economic issues since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The total value of military assistance is about EUR 1.3 billion.
