Oleksandr Vasiuk was elected co-chairman of the Inter-Factional Deputy Association “Strategic Partnership Ukraine-U.S.” of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The main areas of work of the Association are prescribed in the Charter of the Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership of November 10, 2021. This is an expansion of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and the USA in the economic, energy, security, environmental, scientific, educational, cultural, and humanitarian areas. Adaption of Ukrainian legislation to the best international legal standards, to deepen interstate relations. Facilitating the implementation of programs and projects aimed at the European integration and Euro-Atlantic direction of Ukraine’s development, supporting economic reforms and modernization of its key industries, including energy, agriculture, infrastructure, transport, security, health care and digitalization. Reforming the management system at state-owned enterprises, banks, promoting the course of energy security and Ukraine’s efforts to become energy independent.
