Biography

Oleksandr Vasiuk serves as a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and represents a presidential faction “Sluga Narodu” (Servant of the People), and is a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Legal Policy. Oleksandr Vasiuk is a co-chairman of the inter-factional parliamentary association “Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership”, the main purpose of which is to deepen bilateral relations in the main spheres of economy, energy, and social, political, security, and educational spheres of both countries.

He was born on December 28, 1994, in the city of Zaporizhzhia. Graduated from the Law Faculty of Y aroslav Mudryi Kharkiv Law University. Oleksandr Vasiuk worked as an Executive Director of the Association for the Development of Judicial Self-Government of Ukraine. During the 2019 presidential campaign coordinated the team of lawyers for the presidential nominee, Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy (current President of Ukraine).

His main goal, in recent years, is to expand the Ukrainian-American partnership based on a common vision of democracy, and economic and social prosperity of both countries.
