Ukrainian Member of Parliament Oleksandr Vasiuk held a meeting with His Serene Highness, the Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Alois Philipp Maria von und zu Liechtenstein. He expressed his gratitude for Liechtenstein’s participation in the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland and for the Joint Communique on the Fundamentals of Peace, which was adopted as a result of the Summit.
“We discussed Ukraine’s Victory Plan, international support for Ukraine, and the allocation of a new aid package for Ukraine amounting to 8 million Swiss francs to support the country’s rapid recovery. We also touched on the reconstruction of Ukraine, humanitarian support, the implementation of joint projects, and judicial reform in Ukraine. We also raised the issue of the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia. I thank His Serene Highness, the Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Alois Philipp Maria von und zu Liechtenstein, for this important and insightful meeting! Since 2004, Prince Alois of Liechtenstein has been responsible for the day-to-day governance of the country. As heir to the throne, he regularly participates in diplomatic events and international forums where he represents Liechtenstein.
