In Strasbourg, Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Vasiuk held a meeting with Krzysztof Śmiszek, a Member of the European Parliament from Poland. They discussed issues related to judicial reform in Ukraine, European integration, and strengthening bilateral ties between Ukraine and Poland.
“We agreed on cooperation between the Committee on Legal Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Committee on Legal Affairs of the European Parliament, specifically regarding joint initiatives and the exchange of experience. We also discussed support for judicial and anti-corruption reforms with the involvement of international experts in these areas. I thank Krzysztof Śmiszek for the interesting and informative meeting! I am grateful to Poland for its support of Ukraine!” — said Oleksandr Vasiuk.
