Ukrainian Member of Parliament Oleksandr Vasiuk has established a Parliamentary Friendship Group with Liechtenstein. During his working visit to the country, he met with Manfred Kaufmann, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Liechtenstein Parliament, and members of the Committee.
“This is my first visit to this country, and it is a significant step for our interparliamentary cooperation. I talked about the progress of judicial and anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine. We discussed support for Ukraine at the international level, strengthening sanctions against Russia. I thanked them for their support of all EU sanctions packages against Russia, humanitarian aid, and financial assistance to Ukraine, particularly for the reconstruction of infrastructure. I thank Chairman Manfred Kaufmann and the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Liechtenstein Parliament for the insightful and productive meeting! I am grateful for the support of Ukraine!” — said Oleksandr Vasiuk.
