During a working visit to Lithuania in May this year, Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Vasiuk met with the President of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania Gintaras Goda and judges of the Constitutional Court.
“We discussed the experience of judicial and constitutional reforms in Lithuania and Ukraine. We discussed the best practices and their implementation in our countries. I am grateful to the President of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania Gintaras Goda and the judges of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania for an interesting and useful meeting! I am grateful for the experience in reforms that you have shared, which we will be able to implement in Ukraine!”said Oleksandr Vasiuk.
He also met with Irena Haase, Chair of the Seimas Legal Committee, and members of the committee.
“We discussed judicial and constitutional reforms in Ukraine and Lithuania. Ukraine’s full membership in the EU. Lithuania’s assistance in rebuilding Ukraine and support in humanitarian and security issues, as well as at the international level. I am grateful to friendly Lithuania for its strong support of Ukraine on the path to victory!” Oleksandr Vasiuk said.
