Member of the Ukrainian Parliament Oleksandr Vasiuk paid a working visit to the city of Erbil (Republic of Iraq). A major international forum was held in the city, bringing together 500 participants from 50 countries.
“This city truly surprised me. Erbil is vibrant, dynamic, and modern, yet it preserves its uniqueness and rich cultural heritage. We discussed security, shared challenges, current reforms, and exchanged experiences. It was important that Ukraine’s position was heard at this forum, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to present it.” said Oleksandr Vasiuk.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Erbil, Omed Xoshna, for the meeting and open dialogue.
“We discussed key aspects of regional cooperation. I sincerely thank you for the invitation and the high level of organization!” added Oleksandr Vasiuk.
